Recensione #1: Tiger Lily

Trama:

“Sometimes I think that maybe we are just stories. Like we may as well just be words on a page, because we're only what we've done and what we are going to do.” 

In tanti mi hanno parlato bene di questo libro, infatti avevo delle aspettative molto alte che, fortunatamente, non sono state affatto deluse. Uno dei tanti lati positivi di questo libro è che la narrazione è da parte della piccola Tinker Bell, o Trillie, quella che conosciamo come la fatina di Peter Pan; in questa storia sarà molto più interessante rispetto a quella che conosciamo grazie al cartone animato! Grazie a lei riusciamo a sapere cosa accade a Tiger Lily e a Peter Pan anche quando sono lontani, e la sua capacità di comprendere in anticipo gran parte delle emozioni provate dagli umani, le amplifica, rendendo ancora più belli i momenti di gioia, e struggenti quelli tristi.

Dalla trama, potremmo in parte intuire cosa accadrà nel romanzo, ma in realtà questo è molto più interessante e pieno di colpi di scena di quanto potrebbe sembrare. Mi sono affezionata molto,a differenza di altri libri, ai personaggi; da Tiger Lily, che ci sembra così forte ed impavida, quando in realtà il suo cuore è a pezzi, a Peter Pan, coraggioso, all'apparenza, ma al contempo delicato, poetico. 

Alla fine ho trovato anche i personaggi secondari molto ben caratterizzati, ed i luoghi in cui si è svolta la narrazione sono stati descritti meravigliosamente.

é un libro che a parer mio va letto, non importa se si è amanti o meno della storia originale di Peter Pan, e anche se le storie d'amore non sono le vostre preferite,questa sicuramente vi commuoverà.
